Why do we need this?
The objective of an EIA Study is to identify, predict and evaluate the environmental impacts of a particular development or industry on the surrounding environment.
The Study covers a wide range of areas related to the environment; both the physical and biological environment. From a technical perspective, the EIA details the proposed project scope of works, processes involved and the surrounding environment potentially impacted through the implementation of a project.
It then seeks to identify potential impacts such as water quality deterioration, air pollution, production of waste and socio-economic repercussions. The identification of various possible outcomes through the implementation of the project is done through the use of numerical computer aided models and simulations.
The final process of any EIA would be to identify corresponding mitigation measures (where possible) to each of the impacts identified.
At ASIAN ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD., we strive to find sustainable solutions that allow society and industry to mutually co-exist without being detrimental to each other. Each EIA is prepared based on the specific nature of a project, in line with the requirements stipulated in the Malaysian Environmental Quality Act, 1974, EIA Order (2015).
